LENS & GUARD / IN ACTIONThree signals. One informed alert.

AI CAMERA MONITORING / FOR BUSINESS

SEE THE
UNEXPECTED.
ACT WITH AI.

FEWER FALSE ALARMS.

Specialised algorithms. A weighted point system. Greater confidence before you’re alerted. At 100 points, our planned WhatsApp workflow puts the incident video directly into the hands of your selected personnel.

Each suspicious action has a dedicated point value. A single action never triggers an alarm: only a combination of suspicious actions with a total of at least 100 points does.

Security expertise. AI attention. Lens & Guard analyses movement and gestures to flag possible shoplifting and security incidents—helping your people focus on responding instead of watching screens.

TWO ENVIRONMENTS. ONE SERVICE.

Attention where
it counts.

AI monitoring helps surface incidents across your cameras, reducing the need to watch every feed manually.

01 / RETAIL SECURITY

See the behaviour.
Review the incident.

Read the sequence, not just a single movement. Lens & Guard analyses gestures around shelves, repeated looking around and movements toward pockets or bags to flag behaviour that may indicate shoplifting. Each suspicious action carries a dedicated point value. The system combines these signals and alerts your security team only when multiple suspicious actions together reach 100 points.

  • Gestures and activity around merchandise
  • Possible concealment in pockets or bags
  • Person tracking during an incident
  • Planned WhatsApp incident videos for selected personnel at 100 points

Looking around alone does not establish intent. Alerts identify activity to review, not proof of theft.

02 / PREMISES & PERIMETERS

Movement outside.
Attention inside.

Watch for unusual movement around entrances, restricted areas and vegetation. Track activity within the camera’s visible field, score suspicious actions and alert the business owner or designated team only when a combination reaches 100 points.

  • Movement near bushes and boundaries
  • Activity in designated monitoring areas
  • Incident alerts to the responsible people

Visibility, lighting and camera position affect detection.

100 POINTS / VIDEO TO YOUR TEAM

The incident.
In their hands.

At 100 points, the planned alert workflow automatically sends the incident video directly to the WhatsApp of every selected member of your team—so they can review the context and respond promptly.

01

100 points reached

A combination of suspicious actions reaches the alert threshold. A single action does not trigger an alarm.

02

Incident clip prepared

The relevant footage accompanies the event time, location and scoring summary.

03

WhatsApp video alert

The intended workflow delivers the clip to each designated owner, manager or security officer.

04

People review & respond

Your selected personnel assess the video evidence before deciding what to do.

Planned capability; automatic WhatsApp delivery is not yet active. Requires camera access, incident processing and a configured WhatsApp Business integration with opted-in recipients. Delivery timing depends on processing, connectivity and WhatsApp availability. An incident clip supports review; it is not proof of theft.

SHOP INSIGHTS / PLANNED CAPABILITIES

See more than
security incidents.

Turn visible shop activity into practical insights for staffing, merchandising and customer service. These features are planned for the Lens & Guard monitoring programme.

Visitor counts

Daily entry and exit counts, movement direction and activity by entrance.

Busy periods

Compare traffic by hour and day to plan opening hours and staffing.

Live occupancy

Track the number of people inside at a given moment.

Time in store

Understand typical visit duration and changes throughout the day.

Heatmaps & movement paths

See popular areas, overlooked zones and common routes through the shop.

Display engagement

Measure stops and dwell time around promotions; compare display arrangements.

Product interactions

Identify visible pick-ups and returns where camera detail supports detection.

Queue length & waiting time

Understand how many people are waiting and how long they wait.

Queue abandonment

Measure how often visitors leave a queue before being served.

Service time & till utilisation

Spot checkout bottlenecks and periods when more tills may be needed.

Short visits & group visits

Understand quick departures and arrivals in groups; people counts differ from shopping-party counts.

Delivery activity

Review delivery arrival times and visible loading or unloading duration.

Blocked aisles

Flag visible obstructions such as boxes and trolleys.

Visible shelf gaps

Identify potential empty shelf spaces with suitable shelf-facing coverage.

WITH BARCODE, POS & SALES INTEGRATION

Connect footfall to business results.

Combine camera insights with compatible till and barcode-scanner records to explore purchase conversion, revenue per visitor, promotion sales performance, and staffing opportunities by hour. Barcode records can link scanned products to sales; cameras alone cannot reliably read every barcode or confirm a purchase.

Analytics require suitable camera placement and testing; crowding, lighting and occlusion affect measurement accuracy. Multi-camera journeys require reliable matching between views. Anonymous counts and temporary tracking IDs are the intended approach; facial recognition is not needed. Sales metrics require compatible POS data. No live analytics are running on this website.

FROM CAMERA TO ACTION

Detect. Track.
Alert. Respond.

AI handles the watching. Your team stays in control of the response.

01

Assess your setup

Review camera coverage, connection requirements and the areas your business needs to monitor.

02

Configure monitoring

Define relevant events, monitored zones and who should receive incident alerts.

03

Score & alert

Assign dedicated points to suspicious actions. Trigger an alert only when a combination of actions totals 100 points or more.

04

Review & respond

Your owner, staff or security team checks the context and decides what action to take.

A DIFFERENT WAY TO STAFF SECURITY

LET AI
WATCH.
LET PEOPLE
ACT.

Less time behind screens

Reduce the number of people dedicated to manually watching camera feeds. AI surfaces potential incidents so staff can focus on assessment and response.

A more focused way to monitor

Instead of relying on someone to spot a brief gesture during hours of footage, use AI to flag relevant activity and direct your team’s attention to the incident.

Fit your business

Plan monitoring around your premises, existing cameras and security workflow.

Staffing needs and detection performance depend on the site. AI monitoring supports security teams and does not guarantee that every incident will be detected.

SECURITY EXPERIENCE, BUILT INTO AI

Designed by people
who know what
to look for.

Built by people with years of security experience, Lens & Guard brings practical knowledge of suspicious behaviour into camera monitoring.

From movements around a shelf to possible concealment, the service is designed around the situations security teams encounter in real businesses.

AI highlights potential incidents. Your team reviews the evidence and makes the decision.

BEFORE YOUR DEMO

A few useful answers.

Can I use my existing cameras?

We review your current camera setup during the demo. Compatibility, video quality and coverage need to be assessed before deployment.

How does the point system reduce false alarms?

Our specialised algorithms assign a dedicated point value to each suspicious action and assess the combination of actions. No single action is enough to trigger an alarm. Below 100 points, no alarm is triggered; only a combination with a total of at least 100 points triggers an alert. This provides greater confidence in suspicious activity before notifying your team and is designed to reduce false alarms.

Does the AI know for certain that someone is stealing?

It analyses visible movements and gestures that may indicate shoplifting, including possible concealment. Looking around or reaching into a pocket is not, by itself, proof of theft. Your team reviews the sequence and context before taking action.

Can it replace all security staff?

The goal is to reduce manual camera watching and help teams focus on response. The appropriate staffing level depends on your business, risks and response requirements.

How are alerts and camera access arranged?

The planned workflow sends an incident video to every selected WhatsApp recipient once combined actions reach 100 points. Owners choose their designated personnel during setup. Automatic delivery is not active yet and requires a configured WhatsApp Business integration and recipient opt-in; delivery timing depends on processing and connectivity.

Which retail analytics are planned?

Visitor counts, busy periods, occupancy, visit duration, heatmaps, movement paths, display engagement, product interactions, queue length and waiting time, abandonment, service time, till utilisation, short and group visits, deliveries, blocked aisles and visible shelf gaps. Compatible POS and barcode records can add conversion, revenue per visitor and promotion sales insights. Availability and accuracy need validation for each shop.

How much does the service cost?

Request a demo to discuss your camera count, locations and monitoring needs. A tailored proposal follows the assessment.
